PRIME MINISTER Srettha Thavisin will be visiting both China and Saudi Arabia next week where he will be attending the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation at the former and Asean-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit at the latter, Matichon newspaper said today (Oct. 14).
Srettha will be in Beijing during Oct. 16-19 and aside from attending the forum, which will be participated by representatives from 130 nations and 30 international organisations, he will also be holding talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and lay a wreath at Tiananmen Square.
Moreover he is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of this key forum.
He will also be holding meetings with executives of 10 large Chinese private companies including Xiaomi, Alibaba, Huawei and Tencent,
From China Srettha will be flying to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where during Oct. 19-21 he will be attending the Asean-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit.
He will also be holding talks with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the kingdom, and three Saudi private sector companies.
Srettha visited Hong Kong, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore during Oct. 8-12 2023 and attended the 78th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA78) during Sept. 18-24 2023
