THE THAI Air Force scrambled two F-16 fighter jets to intercept an unidentified aircraft approaching the Thai-Myanmar border at Kanchanaburi soon after midday today (May 6), Naewna and Thai Rath newspapers said.
At approximately 12.45 p.m. the two fighter jets flew to the border from Wing 4 in Nakhon Sawan to intercept and verify the position of the unidentified high-performance aircraft after a radar detected that it was approaching the Thai-Myanmar border, the air force said in a Facebook post.
This attracted several comments with one person, who goes by the name James James, saying: “It flew very low, passed the house twice, very loud.”
Another person, Mai Anya, said: “Passing through Kanchanaburi city, it’s very loud, what happened?”
