Protesters start marching towards PM’s residence

THE Free Youth group and their allies collectively calling themselves “REDEM” gathered in the vicinity of the Victory Monument at 3 p.m. today (Feb. 28) and starting marching towards Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s residence within the 1st Infantry Regiment compound on Vibhavadi Rangsit road at 5 p.m., Thai Rath newspaper said.

At 3.55 p.m. the REDEM protester gradually moved from a traffic island on Phaya Thai road and crossed the road and assembled at the Victory Monument to prepare the procession to march to Gen. Prayut’s residence.

At 5 p.m. the protesters had started their march but they are expected to run into a police barrier at Din Daeng-Vibhavadi Rangsit junction as they head for the Prime Minister’s house.
