Covid cases found in all 50 Bangkok districts

 

AMID a nationwide Covid count of 21,881 cases and 59 deaths today (Mar. 6) 2,147 cases were in Bangkok and spread across all 50 districts, Naewna newspaper said.

However, 1,772 of Bangkok’s new batch of patients were residents of the capital with 375 coming here for treatment from other provinces while residential details of 44 patients are still being determined.

Samphanthawong logged the least number of cases today at just four while Thung Khru reported the most, totaling 189 cases, up from just 18 yesterday.

The 10 worst-hit Bangkok districts are as follows:

1) Thung Khru, 189 cases;

2) Laksi, 158;

3) Bang Khun Thian, 104;

4) Ratchathewi, 73;

5) Saimai, 68;

6) Bang Khae, 54;

7) Nong Khaem, 53;

8) Phasi Charoen, 50;

9) Lat Krabang, 48;

10) Chomthong, 45.

Of the 21,881 cases nationwide today 21,747 were domestic while 134 foreign arrivals tested positive.

This takes the cumulative confirmed total since Jan. 1 to  803,260.

Another 21,448 patients were cured taking total recoveries since Jan. 1 to 602,445 while 232,521 are still undergoing treatment.
