Results of second Tangmo Nida autopsy out in 2 weeks

THE Justice Ministry said a second autopsy of the body of actress Pataratida Patcharawirapong, or Tangmo Nida, who drowned in Chao Phraya river during a speedboat trip last month, that is being conducted today (Mar. 17) will last three hours with the results to be known in two weeks’ time barring any issues that could be immediately disclosed to the public, TV Channel 7 said.

Sub. Lt. Thanakrit Jitrareerat, secretary to the justice minister, said that the ministry did not know anything about forensic pathologist Dr. Porntip Rojanasunan’s comment that a second autopsy should not be performed because scientific results could not be changed.

He pointed out that the ministry’s objective in ordering the second autopsy was to bring clarity and justice to this case.

Although Tangmo Nida’s mother, Mrs. Panida Siriyuthyothin, did not attend today’s meeting she did assign her lawyer to do so in her place.

Meanwhile a photograph of actress Amena Pinit taken at the funeral service for Tangmo Nida at Bangkok Liberty Church is going viral on Thai social media after it was observed that the mirror she is standing next to is reflecting a human face that could be of the late actress, Sanook.com said.

It was discovered that this photo is a screengrab of a video clip posted on Tiktok.

More than 100,000 netizens have viewed this image and posted a lot of comments with some saying the face in the mirror is clearly that of Tangmo Nida.
