Ban on gatherings at 20 places during Apec effective today

THE Government has issued a ban on gatherings at 20 places during the 29th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) summit being held in Bangkok during November 16-19, 2022 with this immediately effective from today (Nov. 12), Amarin TV said.
The Royal Gazette pubished an announcement of the Office of the Prime Minister on determining the venues according according to Section 8 (5) of the Public Assembly Act B.E. 2558.

The police has issued regulations on using roads and the area around these 20 places with this too effective from today.

The 20 places mentioned in the announcement are as follows:
1. Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.

2. Places where leaders and representative of the countries attending the summit will be staying, namely:

2.1 Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok;

2.2 Anantara Siam Hotel;

2.3 Park Hyatt Bangkok;

2.4 Rosewood Hotel Bangkok;

2.5 The Okura Prestige Bangkok;

2.6 The Athenee Hotel;

2.7 Conrad Bangkok;

2.8 Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok,;

2.9 Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok;

2.10 Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel;

2.11 Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok;

2.12 So Bangkok Hotel;

2.13 Waldorf Astoria Hotel;

2.14 The St. Regis Hotel;

2.15 Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park;

2.16 The Sukhothai Hotel, Bangkok;

2.17 Banyan Tree Hotel;

2.18 Mandarin Oriental Hotel;

2.19 Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
