A GROUP of schoolchildren who call themselves “bad students” yelled across to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha when he showed up at Siam Paragon shopping centre this afternoon (Dec. 2) to preside over the opening of an athletics conference urging him step down, Matichon newspaper said.
The “bad student” activists, led by Ms. Anna Annanon, waited at the entrance of the Royal Paragon Hall on the 5th floor of this shopping centre for Prayut who had come there to launch the “World Athletics Global Running Conference 2022” and a press conference on the “Amazing Thailand Marathon Bangkok 2022.”
As soon as he showed up Anna shouted, “Uncle Tu (Tu is Gen. Prayut’s nickname) eight years – hurry up and get out” and “You should leave now.”
However Prayut did not hear what she said and probably did not recognise her and just waved to greet the students.
Six female police officers from the crowd control unit were present at the entrance to prevent these students from getting close to the prime minister.
