THEIR MAJESTIES the King and Queen visited Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital where she is undergoing treatment for a heart problem with her condition having now stabilised at a certain level, the royal palace said today (Dec. 15).
Princess Bajrakitiyabha, 44, was taken ill after losing consciousness on Wednesday in northeastern Nakhon Ratchasima province while training her pet dogs for a contest. She was initially treated at a local hospital then flown by helicopter to Bangkok after her condition stabilised at a certain level, the palace said in a statement.
Well-wishers gathered in front of Bhumisiri Mangkhalanuson Building to follow up on her condition.
The Thai Red Cross Society invited the public to sign a well-wishers book for Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s speedy recovery from tomorrow with this available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. everyday except public holidays,
The Princess is one of His Majesty King Rama X’s three children who have formal titles, making her eligible for the throne under a 1924 Palace Law of Succession.
