FORMER MP Chuwit Kamolvisit filed new drug trafficking allegations against arrested Chinese grey capitalist in a letter submitted to the Attorney General’s office in Taling Chan district today (Dec. 28), Amarin TV said.
In this letter he alleged that Mr. Chaiyanat Kornchaiyanant, alias Tu Hao, who was arrested on drug charges around a month ago had also produced and imported narcotic substances including fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid analgesic that is similar to morphine but is 50 to 100 times more potent, into the country.
He urged the prosecutors to verify whether these narcotic substances too were found at Jinling and Leela pubs raided by police on Oct. 26 along with others that have been listed.
Fentanyl has not yet spread in Thailand and is more lethal than heroin, he said, and asked why the police did not take action about this.
Moreover all the equipment at the two pubs are also from China.
Chuwit again urged National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Damrongsak Kittiprapas to dismiss Metropolitan Police Bureau Chief Pol. Lt. Gen. Thiti Saengsawang alleging that he had refrained from collecting evidence in this case and delayed or omitted charges against the suspect.
“If transfer is not accelerated I will reveal evidence including a clip of Mr. Tu Hao clearly saying money can buy everything,” he said.
