Chuwit: Bigger gambling network than macau888 run by an inspector

AMIDST the ongoing crackdown on macau888 online gambling network former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit said this operation is small compared to a much bigger network operated by “Inspector Sua”, Matichon newspaper said today (Feb. 9).

The turnover of this bigger online gambling network is around 10 billion baht, he alleged, adding that the inspector uses his old school network in running it and had linked up with a “General Chor” who is also an alumni of the same school.

Chuwit added that macau888 collapsed because of a “lady slayer”, that is actress Arisara “Due” Thongburisut whose allegations in a Facebook post last month triggered the crackdown, and not because the police went after it.

Arisara had mentioned that while in a relationship with Chaiwat “Benz Daemon” Kajornboonthavorn he had poured a hot bowl of Mama noodles over her head and no one in the family helped her. She had added that she was abused throughout the one to two years they were together.

Chuwit said macau888 gambling website had a turnover of 5 billion baht with four brothers involved, the first is Benz Daemon (Arisara’s ex-boyfriend), the second Boss, the third Big and the fourth Bright who is a police officer.

Arisara revealed information about this gambling network because of the abuse she had suffered while involved with Benz Daemon. Although 10 years had already passed she felt it was still not too late to do something about it, he said.

After this “lady slayer” made a move then only did the police take action even though they regularly took kickbacks from the operators, Chuwit said.

He added that the police also gave the four brothers time to flee overseas.

This afternoon Mr. Pisit Chutiphonphongchai, Benz Daemon’s lawyer, met the police to discuss defence of his client over charges of jointly operating macau888 online gambling network.

He told reporters his client is ready to fight the case and will return to Thailand on Feb. 16 or sooner.
