A WORKER at a construction site opposite a popular department store in Chatuchak area of Bangkok died late this afternoon (Feb. 27) after a tower crane collapsed, Matichon newspaper said.
The Ruamkatanyu Foundation has sent a rescue team to help while firemen from Sutthisan station are also on the way.
Initially it was reported that the unidentified 30-year-old deceased man was at the top of the structure when the tower crane came crashing down.
It has been verified that none of the other workers were trapped within the structure.
