TWO people died and 18 others, mostly tourists, got injured after a bus fell off a bridge in Samut Prakan this evening (Feb. 3), Matichon newspaper said.
Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers and ambulances quickly reached the bridge over Ka Long canal at 200 Pi road, Preng subdistrict, Bang Bo district, and rushed to take the injured bus passengers to the hospital.
Volunteers are still rescuing people from the submerged bus with two to three of them stuck in the mud that has spread in the big vehicle.
Preliminary report says of the 18 people who were injured, 13 were men and five women, with two confirmed to have died.
