A LOT of people got worried after seeing photos of a coffee maker full of cockroaches inside that a technician shared but now regrets doing so because of fear arising over this incident, Naewna newspaper said this afternoon (Apr. 29).
The technician said upon sharing the shocking photos that a customer brought the unit in for repair complaining that it was not switching on after the button was pressed. When he opened it he got goosebumps at seeing the interior filled with so many cockroaches.
After the photos circulated online many people who saw them became concerned but the technician explained that this is a rare case.
“Not every machine is like this. In this case, the customer had shut shop for a year and brought it for repair after not being able to switch on.
“I sympathise with the owner because a damaged board costs 10,000 baht to replace.”
He later said, “I would like to delete the post about the coffee maker full of cockroaches, too much drama, I can’t handle it, even though the intention was to show why it had broken down.”
