A RUSSIAN woman plunged to her death from the 37th floor condominium unit she shared with her boyfriend located in Bangkok’s Rachathewi district this afternoon (Dec. 2), Amarin TV said..
Rescue workers quickly rushed to the scene upon being alerted of the death of the as yet unidentified Russian woman.
Pol. Col. Watcharawi Thammasema, superintendent of Phaya Thai police station, said as eyewitnesses are still being questioned and evidence gathered no further information could be given.
This TV station’s news team questioned a security guard at this high-rise condo and were told that the woman fell to her death at around 3 p.m. when he heard someone shouting that a person had plunged down the building.
He then rushed to check and saw the deceased woman’s mangled body after falling from the 37th floor of the 44-storey building.
He added that he had never seen her before because there are many foreigners visiting this condo but he later found out that she lived in this unit with her boyfriend who was around 35 years old.
A police team went up to the deceased woman’s flat and only came down with the boyfriend at around 6.30 p.m. with the latter looking quite stressed.
