THREE Chinese robbers stole 5 million baht from another Chinese man who had arranged to exchange the cash for cryptocurrencies at a house in Huai Khwang district of Bangkok but instead of making the transfer the robbers picked up the bag full of money and fled in a van, Amarin TV said today (Jan. 9).
The robbery occurred at 3.50 p.m. with the three robbers fleeing in a white Alphard van towards Asoke Montri road and the victim chasing them in a motorcycle taxi but unable to catch up.
The unidentified victim then went to Huai Khwang police station to file a complaint.
