THE Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat) clarified that the whole expressway system is usable with only the entrance and exit ramps of the Din Daeng stretch closed, Amarin TV said this afternoon (March 29).
After yesterday’s powerful earthquake with the epicentre being in Mandalay,Myanmar, rattled the whole of Thailand, Exat inspected all Bangkok expressways and found that the structure had not been affected, remaining stable and strong.
The exception is the entrance and exit ramps to the Din Daeng stretch which have been closed because of debris having fallen on them. Assessment is currently being made on opening them as soon as possible.
Earlier it was mentioned that the whole Din Daeng expressway stretch had been closed but in fact only the ramps have been shut down.
