A BIG FIRE broke out at a rubber product manufacturing and distribution factory in Samut Sakhon City district at 10.17 a.m. this morning (July 7) with firefighters battling the blaze, TV Channel 7 and Fire & Rescue Thailand said.
Initial investigation revealed that the fire had started at an oil pipeline within the factory and as this is flammable it spread quickly through the complex.
There are people who have got injured in this blaze with further details being investigated.
By 11.30 a.m. the factory building which was engulfed with flames had started to collapse with there being occasional explosions.
