AN MP of Klatham Party, which is a partner of the Bhumjaithai-led coalition government, this evening (Oct. 16) guaranteed that his camp’s de facto boss, Deputy Prime Minister-cum-Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Thammanat Prompao, was not involved with a call centre gang, PPTVHD 36 said.
Mr. Pai Lik, who is both a Klatham MP and the party’s secretary-general, said in a Facebook post that he has known Thammanat for almost 20 years as this camp’s advisory chairman having both worked with him and maintained relationship with him outside work and is therefore confident he has nothing to do with a call centre gang.
Some political groups are currently trying to implicate their camp with a call centre gang, either directly or indirectly, he mentioned.
“I think this is dirty politics, parroting the issue. I once discussed it with Lt. Col. Thammanat and he said that it is best to show the results (of their work) to the people,” Pai Link said.
He added that he is so confident that he is willing to bet on their innocence but is not certain the accusers would dare to do so.
“If he or Klatham is involved with a call centre gang I am ready to quit politics,” he said.
