VIOLENCE disrupted a concert at Ramkhamhaeng University last night (Sep. 20) as youths brawled leaving many of them injured, Naewna newspaper said early this morning.
At around 12.30 a.m. Hua Mark police station was alerted of a fight breaking out among youths attending a concert marking the Festival of the Tenth Lunar Month (Sat Duan Sip) at this university resulting in multiple injuries with a team quickly rushing there.
Upon arrival they found several concertgoers bleeding from stab wounds and rescue workers from Por Tek Tung Foundation and Erawan Emergency Rescue Unit provided immediate assistance and transported them to the hospital.
In controlling the situation police arrested some youths as they were fleeing. They are to be questioned to determine the motive for brawling and prosecuted according to the law.
The clash triggered chaos and endangered the public as a large number of students were attending the final night of the event.
